RANDOM Range

Small Feedback after some hours ...

as a pur strategy player and hater of too much random, I feel the range in a strategy game is too much ...
outcomes from total destruction to a heroic victory are nuts and are possible in that game, what is really sad !

Maybe the devs could make an option , where the random factor is reduced, not to remove it at all, but that the outcome is in some way logic ...

it should count more, what chars and units I have and where I defend or what I choose ... else it is more a save and load loop and not that you feel you could accept all outcomes ...

So please think about a possibility that rnd outcomes are more in a narrow field !

I hope, you know what I mean [&:]

Apart that a great game and wish you lot of success, maybe next version we will have graphics and sound from TOTAL WAR with your deep gameplay, that would be my dream, but most. if not all good looking strategy games are scrap, like in reality [:D]

So thanks again for the great game ! [&o]

Well IRL battle are this random too imagine D day getting hammered by a tempest in the channel like german plane trying to level london but failed due to weather. You can't win everytime. + It's less random than x com 99% win and fail as you need to pass multiple check first like board wargame. You can see the detail if you check the battle report click detail and then click on the attack check. Usually 1 infantry sub unit of 100 men get hit 3 time at least in order to die.

Understand your wish but I personally *absolutely love* that it's such a wide range. Does tons for replay-ability and yes, hurts predictability, but it's just so good trying to cope with these hugely varied situations.

Maybe an option can be made.

more that CARDS you play against unrest, how many resources you get ... it should depend a lot more what cards you have and from the Character I use , maybe what buildings I have there and so on , that would be nice or the quality of troops I have in the town ...

that was most of the time, when I started to reload LOL

But maybe an option , where you could narrow down that 1W6 x 10 to 1W3 x 5 ..... or a range ! Even that unbalanced and cheating Panzer Corps 2 has it :-)

I think the randomness is realistic and keeps things fresh. My only issue is that failed rolls are a little too punishing sometimes. It would be nice if there was at least some kind of minor benefit to using cards even if the roll fails (especially on high PP cards). I'm okay with critical fails being punishing though.

Just had an idea, why not include a possibility to change every possible decision , if I invest MORE money or resources (time, leaders, etc.) than the RNG will be lowered ... so I could decide, no the risk is too high, lets REDUCE the unpredicted outcome --- it represents, testing, Quality control etc. ...

so you could launch the rocket with humans in Space I or like last week Space X "Dragon" LOOOL ...
that would be a cool system !

Maybe to move that THREAD now to Suggestions THX
