Graphic glith layers of map disapear

Post by Frostwave »

Went to the report screen and when I went back to map green hexes were replaced with brown ones. If I clicked on each hex it would return to green and when I went to a different screen and hit the map button they all returned.

first pic is with missing tiles

will have to make follow up posts for other pictures

I've had it too, many had it. If you have a reliable way to make that happen Vic is very interested in that + the savegame!

have to sort through the old saves but I have a saved game for another graphical glitch that is even worse cause it never fixes itself. Thankfully that save the ai makes the same move making it repeat the incident.

update: tried to recreate it and not doing it. I imagine that's why this one is so hard to nail down

Doubt it, I just mean I couldn't recreate it. So many variables who knows what I may have done differently at the time.

Hi Frost,

Sorry for the late response.
This should have been fixed in the last Open Beta patch.

If you are already at that v102-beta2 version let me know.

Best wishes,
Vic

Hi Vic,

I'm using what I though was the latest version 1.02.00 that I downloaded yesterday. Will update to the latest beta.

Updat June 11:Using the latest 1.02 beta 2 Im still having issue with this other graphic bug. If you look at this other bug I reported https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4828067 I have been able to recreate that one. I sent you a saved game file last night. Just hit end turn and it will recreate the issue with metal resource graphic disappearing; you will see enemy unit enter the hex and then when he leaves it right away the metal resource graphic disappears yet I can still build a mine on it but the graphic will not return unlike the bug I spoke about earlier with map tiles that would return after leaving the screen.

I updated to 1.02 beta 2 and unfortunately the bug with the metal resource graphic disappearing still happens.

Was talking about the more major map distortion glitch.

The resource glitch is now also fixed in the upcoming patch.

Hi Vic,
I understood what you meant just wanted to make sure the metal resource glitch was being looked at as well since it was similar but still a separate issue.

Happy to hear this resource graphic bug has been squashed eagerly await the next patch.

Was the issue with the units not appearing on the map in the history playback unless they moved been addressed? I can record a vid of it happening if it helps.

thanks again for your hard work
