Leader Loves Everything I Do--Bug?

One of my leaders seems to have a man-crush on me. For almost every decision, for all of the alternative responses he likes me the same no matter which response I choose. Is this WAD?
It seems like even if this is intended to depict a "yes man", there would be some decisions that would genuinely please him (and improve our relations) and some that would secretly displease him (degrading our relationship and making him want to stab me in the back).
Is this a bug or WAD?
