My worlds creature are blather analogues. Can anyone explain what a blather is? A jellyfish, a sea sponge? It doesn't appear as a creature of any kind when I google it, in Wikipedia, or in a dictionary. It's certainly not an American usage, maybe it's an English (GB) expression (kind of like the "hampstering" that happens during the Dissolution war).

Apparently "Blather" is a term for Characters from Animal Crossing:

I am guessing their name is picked, because they blather (the verb) so much?
Given his track record, I would guess Vic just totally mispelled the word he was trying to write. This game is made a single Dev. He is Dutch.
I guess that should warant a Bug Report, under spelling/Gramaar perhaps?

Go to youtube and search for Dark Star (John Carpenter, 1974) the alien... - that's a blather.
