Display issue with fonts/text size

Hi,
The game was working fine on my Surface Pro 6. The PC went into sleep mode and now the text/font for the game is not aligning properly. I've deleted the whole directory and reinstall the game and the same issue persist regardless of compatibility settings. Any suggestions?

I am using a surface book 2. i have checked all the drivers and they are up to date.

Hi. Have you tried going into your computer's display setting and changing the default size your computer displays text at?
You may need to set your text smaller. Unfortunately might make it tougher to read too.

Same here, text is all over the screen. Makes me really sad, the game is now unplayable. WiTE is perfect, but WiTW has this problem.
I lowered the text percentage from 125% to 100% for the display it's open on and it fixed it, but text is too small to read now, way too small. Other programs are readable but WiTW has text that's just tiny.

I had the same issue.
My method was to make a shortcut of the exe out of the steam folder to the taskbar then shift right click to access properties and go to the compatibility tab.
Check 'run this program as an administrator' then click the change high dpi settings button.
Once on that screen check the 'override high dpi scaling behavior' and set the drop down menu to 'system(enhanced)' and then apply the settings.
Now when you use the shortcut to start dwu the ui should be normally scaled and clear depending on your displays scaling hardware.
