He was between my SHQ and my front line and crippled all my mot/mech/armor units...
Yeah, that guy wants a lot of fuel

The funniest thing is thath this units has a stock higher than the typical oil well reserve (25k/30k).

In later turns he did start requesting ridiculous amounts of fuel....heavy tank with a triple diesel engine....

I found the logistics a bit challenging, but learning where to build and when to upgrade truck stations resolved most of my issues. Also knowing how to use the traffic signs is pretty important.

Raising a brigade of monitor tanks required 65,000 fuel. Each battalion has a reserve of around 12,000 fuel and consumes 2-4k for one turn's movement. I'd just been assuming it was a design decision to emphasize that advanced technology is Really Hard. Though it did seem weird to have resource requirements that are so far from attainable in anything resembling "average" play.

So, the Monitor Tank is like the
Landkreuzer P 1000 Ratte (the number is the planned tonnage)

Okay, I think the Monitor has to be around the "Landkreuzer P 1000 Ratte".
It got up to 360mm armor.
They did not install a 280mm cannons so much, as put on a spare Battleship Turret that had those inside.
The Maus only got like 200mm armor and a 128mm High Velcoity gun.
