Turn 6? They just swarmed me with motor bikes and cut off supplies to my troops who were 4 hexes from my main city. I've restarted approximately 10 times previous to this due to patches experimentation etc. I didn't see this coming.

Not complaining, just amazed how many troops they amassed in the beginning of the game.

Yeah, sounds like Slavers. Fortunately, when this happens, it is early game and generating a new world and starting over just takes a few seconds!

Slavers or raiders probably? They're hardcore mode early game, especially if you started low tech, one city, militia only.

Have a read of that recent thread about it if you'd fancy, there's good information in there about how to manage it, in my opinion.

Same thing happened to me, but I could hold the perimeter (very narrow perimeter [:D]) and slowly I managed to drive them back. Very rewarding!
