Newest Beta 1.082

I have a WarPlan steam game I always use for pbem on a separate drive (for all steam games). I tried updating my other copy of the game to the new beta 082(not steam) and found I could not open the game. I got a unity 2017 error message. I've been able to keep up with the updates until this one. My gaming computer is from 2018. Does that mean I can't use the 2019 unity files in this latest beta? What will happen when steam automatically updates this when it becomes a Matrix update?
I ended up having to remove the game and re-download it from Matrix, as no matter how many times I tried changing back to the previous beta the files stayed June 17 2020 and it would not open without that error message.
Any ideas on what might have gone wrong?

I assume the beta copy is a matrix install.

If manually erase all the files/folder in the game folder that matches what's in the beta zip. DO NOT erase the mygames folder.

Unity 2019 can use win7 sp1 or better.
Double check you DirectX version. Update it. Post back if more problems
