AI does not use diplomacy

It seems like the AI does not use diplomacy to influence other countries. You can basicaly win the game by winning over all countries cause the AI does'nt influence anyone at all.

Diplomacy is for human games. Having different countries come in for the A.I. messes up their scripting.
If I did do diplomacy for the A.I. they would just ruthlessly dump it into Spain for the Axis or Romania for the Allies.

My pbem games (PvP) have Diplomacy off (or never get any points at least)? Is that the same for other pbem players???

That is the default. WarPlan is a wargame not HOI. Playing with diplomacy unbalances the game tremendously.

That is the choice of the user setting up the PBEM game. I always turn it off.
