Wrestling - a less bloody arena

I would love to see wrestling as an alternative to the gladiatorial arena, for less bloody regimes. Andre the Giant, anyone?
Gladiatorial Combat in large part was like Wrestling in ancient Rome.
Sure, there there the "throw christians/slaves to the lions games". But most of the Gladiators were more like Profesional Wrestlers or Boxers:
