Recycling asset doesn't get auto-removed

I noticed that recycling assets don't get automatically removed when the tile they are on runs out of scavenging points. That means the asset is using up a lot of your workers, despite not producing any resources.
I'm not sure, but I have a feeling this might happen when the recycling asset is built on a spot where there are additional ruins on adjacent tiles? Are recycling assets actually supposed to scavenge resources from adjacent ruins?

With artifacts in the square I actually noticed that the salvage in the square drops to something like 10 and after that it is reduced by 1 each turn.
This isn't really visible without artifacts as the salvage is reported in thousands but with artifacts in tile the exact value is reported.
I guess it might be the case that the tile hasn't run out of salvage but when there's tiles next to it it somehow causes this small left over to be left in the tile and it then takes ages to be mined out

Yes there is a positive modifier for having other scav hexes around.
After only 1000 scav points left the proceeds get lower and lower. This could go to like 1% or 0% and this way the last remainder of scav points never got exploited.
Will be fixed upcoming version. Max penalty on scav will be set to -90% instead of -100%.
best,
