Which planets and biomes generates spiders?
I want to fight tarantulas

In my experience, there are 1 or 2 zones that are arachnids on most life bearing worlds. They might not be near you though and they get stomped by another major before you encounter them.

I think human (plant) life friendly is the requirement. They can not breathe in a vacuum.

You can get arachnids on any planet regardless of whether it says "completely lifeless" or not. That's been my experience. There could be other factors. I haven't kept track of atmosphere enough to know if it had any impact. I can guarantee vegetation has no impact (see: "completely lifeless", non-Siwa/Medusa).

I have seen mention of arachnids on Complex/Advanced fauna worlds (not on very advanced for some reason though), but am yet to meet them... Atleast to specifically separate them from all the other Starship Troopers monsters encountered in those lush worlds I play...

Siwa class over the course of 5 full games has always given me arachnids. tough little nutters.

yeah soften them up with two independent artillery, or 3 independent buggy/recon brigades for 2 maybe 3 rounds depending on your luck and they're done for. it's free real estate!
