Colonisation Oxygensation causes wierd results

It is possible for a planet to get a Oxygen Atmosphere as part of the Colonisation step. Howevere, the numbers do not add up.
Also, I think it wiped out Xeno Farming Nutrition entirely? I will make several post, with one Screenshot each.

At 1.7 Billion years, the planet is incredibly young to have that developed live. Live seems to have started around 600 Million years.
Note the Oxygen Level of 8.37% and Good Alien Tissue Nutrition.

According to these values, Colonisation:
- increased Oxygen from 8.37% to 28.43% - by +36.37%. I think you wanted to get the difference between old and new. But accidentally rounded the current and added (instead of substracting) the old one. But considering that Argon is now a lower ratio, it is possible this is more then just a conversion
- Alien Tissue Nutrition went from "Good Value" to "Zero Value".

I've seen planets with no oxygen report rising oxygen level by +X% and the level did not match reported value nor it could have been a multiplier since as I said there was no oxygen in the atmosphere

O2 and CO2 are the same thing, in different parts of the cycle.
The formula for a O2 atmosphere is:
- CO2
- some plantlife doing photosynthesis

Hi,
Consider the edible alien lifeforms to have been out-competed by earth plants and bacteria.
Whatever alien life remainders still lift it must be those species that didn't match well with earth biochemistry => hence => not-compatible.
Must have been a Siwa class. In fact all the classified Planets twist the dice rolls in one way or another to arrive at a Planet that matches its description.

Yes, it was a Siwa Planet.
That with removing the edible local stuff? Makes sense. Maybe should have a mention in the description however.
Also a chance to not have that planting of earth-plants happening, maybe?
However, that still leaves the wierd values with Oxygen:
8.37%+36.37% = 28.43%?

There can also be large amounts of oxygen being trapped in sediments in the earth crust, that can be set free by geological and biological processes. Our current period of ice ages was partly triggered by the capture of CO2 by erosion of the Himalayas. And some of the richest iron ore deposits were created by iron that captured the oxygen that was produced by the first algae. Only when all that iron was transformed into ore, the atmosphere could fill up with oxygen.
I am sure there are many more unknown possible mechanisms on unknown planets, but I don't think we can demand that Vic creates a complete bio-geology simulator.

I am not demanding anything like that.
I am pointing out that
8.37%+36.37% = 28.43% does not sounds like a Valid Math Term!
