Is it possible to change the posture for units under the SHQ? .... I don’t see any way to do it using the cards, as they only work on the other HQs.

Postures by design only work on Operational-HQ or OHQ unit scale.
The SHQ can not be given one. Neither can indepedant Units.

It is just one of the many reasons to use Formations with OHQ's.

You can add 2 extra units to any OHQ then they should use the card I would think.
