I'm finding it increasingly difficult to tell the difference between units and terrain/trees, etc. Is there any way to add or change the level of the zoom-in feature to get closer to the action?

Larger monitor (32" diagonal) at 2560 x 1440 resolution looks great overall but seeing individual infantry units is really creating eye-strain for me.

CC3/COI was the last/only CC game to have the zoom option in battle for the map/units. It doubled the map graphic image and used different infantry/vehicle graphics that were larger. Unfortunately at the time very few players used the feature due to lower resolution monitors of the time and wanting to see things further away. It sucked having tanks explode and having no idea where the shot came from.

It would be interesting if the code is still there and just not used???

Fully agree, would love to see the COI zoom feature on TLD, WAR and LSA. I find that extra level of zoom very helpful when playing COI.
