Old player seeking a comeback

Haven't played for several years but getting the itch again ....
Have exclusively played the good guys .... (aka Japan) and only 2 day turns which I consider a must. I've never quit a game (one going 1946), but getting my butt handed to me in the late war more than once .... Not opposed to a mod version of the game or stock based on preference.
Can't promise 1 turn a day (after the hectic early turns) so likely consider this a slow game .....
If interested, let me know preferences ........
