simply put, since at least 1.04b3, i've been getting offered lots of maps with extremely low amounts of population.

As a example, i was trying to get a normal-large Siwa map, with the Haven Of Calm/Alien Life mutators on it, and i got this offered up to me:



I feel like something is wrong with the lower bounds for population post-Apocalypse when i'm seeing stuff like this with 0-4 minors and few majors. I'm missing 1.03 when i could get populations of 5+ million on Siwas fairly consistently with rerolling.

Easily get 6.9 millions of survivors on Siwa with Robinson + Severe Violence + Survival Stress.

Maybe effects of "Severe Violence" and "Haven of Calm" are misplaced? [:D]

I think "Haven of calm" just makes the Major AI start either cold or friendly. "Severe Violence" makes the Major AI start either blackmail or hostile. Wouldn't checking both cancel each other out?

I made a siwa planet with haven and it had 4 billion before war and I forget how many survivors but it wasn't shabby. I quit cause I started with just militia and couldn't hack it )
