I have created an account on norbsoftdev but I haven't received an activation email.

If you're referring to the NSD forum, there's no 'activation email' followup after signup. Otherwise, I'm unaware of any NSD account signup available.

When I made the account on the NSD forums and tried to login, I get this error "Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet.".
If you cannot help with that issue then help me with the reasons why I want to make an account on the NSD forums.
I want to download some mods but the download links are dead.

Mexico 1836 Mod Redux
SYW BATTLE OF LEUTHEN RE-RELEASED
A Savage and Romantic War - The First Carlist War
Also I want to know if it is possible to play the GCM single player mod.
Any help is immensely appreciated.

I suggest you sign up using a new user name with a different email address. This way you can at least post messages requesting the mods you're interested in. Many times members will provide at least temporary download links if the author doesn't respond.

Thanks for the reply.
However I already tried making another account and once again got the same issue. I don't think anyone can actually make and use a new account. An activation email is needed and the service for the sending that email doesn't seem to be working so...

There have been 15 new accounts started in the last four months, since the update and reformat of the website. Some of these new members have left posts and there has been no mentioning of issues with opening their accounts.
