*looks at his shelves of titan engines, and decides he should really dump the 20 or so AI engines...*

Hellooooooooooooo :) I haven't posted for a while, been too busy killin AI.

I had something great to say, but only thing i can remember is 'Engines are better to collect than heads, engines are smaller, being as how you usually only got the pieces you can find after they go *BOOM*'

LOL, how long did you wait to post after thinking of what to say?

You do have a point on that engine thing. besides, after a while, heads start stinking.

then again, engines are radioactive... ahh well, androids don't care about that...

Well, you could collect the Titan's heads. We all know Hetz blows them off often enough to have a nice collection by now. Besides, they would look pretty neat all lined up.

Michael, find something to keep you busy. Please.

And stop the needless quotes. Please.

Sorry about that, but your ping-pong posts are getting on my nerves. I'm simply asking.

Unfortunately, when I'm sitting here at work, reading and posting on the forum is something I'm doing to keep me busy. Otherwise, I just stare at the screen.

Sorry it's bugging you.

It's just that you don't have to reply to *each and every* post here.
You could just burn ToS WS in a CD and get yourself some testing done at work. Just turn the sound off ;)

Sure, and I don't reply to every single post. Just a lot of them. But that's what a forum is for.

I actually was playing ToS:WS at work for a while, but my boss didn't like it, so I had to stop, even though I was only using it on my breaks and lunch. They don't like the company computers being used for games, but they're okay with web surfing as long as you don't go anywhere naughty.

That's funny, because invariably, every other post is yours, and the last post in any thread is yours too. Check it for yourself. Exceptions are very few.
I do not wish to feed another ping-pong, which is where this is heading.

Again, that's what forums are for. Is there another reason to have a forum besides people posting? What does it matter if I respond to a lot of posts, or even all of them? If people didn't want replies, they wouldn't post anything.

Edit: My name shows up so often lately because very few other people are posting at all. If you look back to earlier times, when the forum was much more active, my name is far less common. I just happen to still be posting when quite a few of the other regulars are not around anymore.

Anyway, I don't really want to continue going back and forth over it, either. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

I think you're confusing a forum for a IRC channel or a private messaging tool. A forum doesn't necessarily need to be hyper active. It is a place for people to ask question about the game (in this case) when they have them, and get their answers, and discuss game-related stuff.
I don't recall people asking for replies lately, not at the rate you dish them out anyway. And your "replies" are not actually answers to questions, are they? Most are just "nothing else to do" spam.
And since you brought it up, a *forum* is supposed to be "clean" of spam and useless posts so that when new players pop up they don't have to waddle through a bunch of crap to catch up on what's really important - the game related stuff.
That is why I felt I had to say something, given the state of the situation. I have nothing against you personally, as I think you very well know. Please think about this.

I do know, which is why I don't take any offense at you saying something. I just think we have different ideas about the forum. Basically, it's a public place where anyone can say whatever they like, barring something actually offensive to another person. At least, that's my take on it. No one is being forced to read through all the messages on it, and if there's a thread they don't like, they can just skip it.
I can understand that you don't like seeing ping-pong posting that doesn't contain anything of great importance, but I hope you can also understand that I enjoy posting on the forum and find it relaxing to just take a minute and talk about something other than the program I spend all day supporting.

Again, you're confusing public with general. Public places are not places where you can say whatever you like barring being offensive. Especially if they have a specific purpose. And that talk about skipping threads that you're not interested in, it works fine when people stick to the subject of the threads, if you know what I mean... unfortunately, that's not the way it works, and you know why? Lack of discipline.
I'm not against *occasional* posts off topic, that's perfectly alright. But when those outnumber by far the "juice", then there is a problem.
A forum is not a substitute for someone's life. If everybody here had that attitude, imagine how this place would be like.
Just take a minute? Talk about something? Sorry, that's not what I see here.
Ok, I'm done.

back to the original subject.......

do AI cyborg heads start stinking after awhile or is it just human heads?

and do AI android heas even have anykind of smell to them?

im thinking about collecting some myself

then again i do have a huge collection of AI left legs.........

Cyborg heads still have some flesh, so they'd stink. And android heads probably smell like plastic & burnt electronics.

I'm against censorship but this topic should get a spam sticker in the overview.

... Engines are smaller, and not radioactive at all, because you just got the broken pieces that you can find after it blows up. >:)

I once actually just pummelled an AI titan to bits... took out each location, engine didnt explode, i think i got the LO torso last. Was fun, that and the guy who did it had nearly been killed by lucky blows to the head (the guy who pummelled the AI)... sorta like torturing hetzer... :D Fun, though you can't do it to the real hetzer cuz he'd pummel you back :/
