Trucks

I have an initial mobile battalion which includes 30x Irregular Trucks. How do I work out how far this battalion can move?

Does the entire battalion use wheeled movement costs?

What does a carry value of 5 mean for the Irregular Truck component of the battalion?

Does it mean 150 carry points so my 100x RPG Militia, my 100x Rifle Militia and my 10x Irregular Arty are all carried by these 30 trucks? The weight of the 100xRPG is 5 so is the 100x Rifle Militia and 10x Arty. Does that mean the 15 weight is easily carried by 30xTrucks?

I believe so. I haven't looked into the details beyond "1 sub-unit of 10 Trucks will carry 1 Sub-unit of 100 Infantry or 1 Sub-unit of 10 Artillery"

AFAIK it works as HansLemurson said, that meas than you need x10 trucks per each sub unit (x100 infantry or x10 guns)

Thanks all.
I'll take your word for it because I can't find this in the manual.

So, in essence, it is 5 carry points per 10 trucks?

Not sure, tbh I have found than it doesnt matter the weight of the arty/infantry they always need x10 trucks for each sub unit. The Weight matters for the logistics when you want to do a strategic deployment.

I think one of the tab with informations for units (probably the one with AP) has information if entire unit move is FOOT/Wheeled or different one.

'carry' might be leftover code - no idea right now. In Advanced tactics (Vic game that used the same engine) buggies could grab 2 infantry units (2 carry, weight), while trucks carry 20 weight (20 units or 2 artileries).
