My first question is, how important is researching logistics as Axis? in your games how many Mpps do you put into researching it? none? some? a ton?

Second question: The description of logistic states that researching the next level will allow you to field one more of each type of amphibious transport as well as the standard transports. It will also allow you to operate more units per turn. However, I don't know how many amph. transports the axis get to begin with, or how many units germany can operate. Does somebody know? The manual doesn't say anything about it.

Germany starts with 2 Amphibious transport, Italy gets 1, Not sure for Japan never checked as you will always have to invest in Amp tech for the Pacific, which also increases how many you can build.

I usually invest up to Lvl 2 Logistics for Germany and Japan. Later on if things are going well I will put in more.

It also increases the build limit by 1 per level for HQ units, which can be helpful if you can afford to buy them to increase unit supply and performance if attached to the extra HQ's
