This is a big one! I'm really loving the changes to the SBR/delta and the addition of comms editing too. That's the main takeaway for me, unit editing is much easier now.

One thing though is that the game doesn't recognize v487 update (even though it's in the DB folder). When I try to update to the latest DB, it says I'm already on the latest. I also can't manually load v487 because it says it's not registered.

Edit: The game also says I'm on 1163 beta build. Is that supposed to be like that or 1147.8?

There was an error in the executable provided with the update, as you noticed it is not recognizing the new DB3000 version. This should now be fixed. If you have already downloaded the update please re-download (we provided a new DL link, do NOT re-use the original one) and re-apply it now. The correct executable should have the version listed as Build 1147.8.

Opened it up and the build 1147.8 displays in the game but the splash screen has the 11th of June update (Ver 1001.11471) not sure if that is something to do with Beta vs official release but caught me off guard.

Yes, that's as expected. The information on the launcher window is updated only during official updates, and since this is an unofficial release this mismatch is normal (and harmless).

I can never unzip these 7-Zip files and have to wait for the Official download. Any clue why 7-Zip doesn't work?

Al,

If you can unzip anything at all, then try unzipping it to a separate folder, and copying ALL of the contents over to the proper CMO folder. You can check the box to over-write everything so that you don't have to hit the button 6000 times.

If you don't know how to unzip using that program, open up the right panel so that you can see all of the files, and then highlight ALL of them, and then hit the EXTRACT button (the MINUS) and it will ask you where you want it to go. Enter your CMO path, OR do what I said and place it it a newly-created folder, just to make sure that you are doing it properly. If it all extracts, then copy it over as I said. That will work for you.

Go SLOW. Read where it says that you are sending things. Take your time, and make sure that you don't install it on top of CMANO, if you still have that program installed.
