Could you explain how the tax is calculated for sales?

Population sold 14 Metal to traders for 9 Cr. Income tax over that 3 (33% tax rate)
Population sold 112 food to traders for 34 Cr. Income tax over that 7 (20% tax rate)
Population sold 46 food to traders for 23 Cr. Income tax over that 5 (22% tax rate)
Population sold 12 fuel to traders for 8 Cr. Income tax over that 2 (25% tax rate)

My Income Tax rate is 20%

Sorry to bump this but I'm getting no joy at all after a fair bit of analysis.

Pretty sure I should know how Income Tax is calculated in my own zones.

Hence, could someone explain the above figures from a zone report early in the game??

They should ALL be 20%

I expect that there is some rounding going on and maybe the governor can improve the income through rolls?
