With version 1.08 the loading Unity screen to choose screen resolution does not appear anymore.

Is there a way to change the game resolution ?

toggle full/window screen (to windowed)
max the screen size when in windowed mode
toggle again the full/window screen

I have a high-resolution screen (iMac 27) and would like to tinker with different resolutions, as was permitted pre 1.08...

WP 1.00.08 runs on Unity 2019. They remove that function apparently for I don't know what reason. I thought maybe it was a disabled feature but it isn't apparently.

the [ and ] keys change the resolution in game of the menu items.

Ive posted something a long time ago and no one replied on their forums. I will check again.

Is there config file to manually set resolution? It is a shame that game in 2020 doesn't have that option inside itself.

It's not that. They removed the functionality of it from the engine I am using with the new update.

So I have to rewrite it.

How to do it now is window the game.
Set the size you want
Then set full screen.

Last night Unity verified they removed this from the game so now I will have to manually add it if I can code it. I should be able to.

Issue has been fixed and a new menu item added for graphics. I miss that old panel.

I am testing it as we speak so we can get a new patch ASAP for you guys.
It will also include the newest beta stuff I just posted.

What is your resolution? This looks like 1024x768.

Thus resolution is way too low for WarPlan. The minimum recommended is 1366x768.

I have that in there as a just in case.

I'm doing this resolution now and you can't run it in that resolution all the buttons are crammed in.

I'll have to adjust the bottom limit for UI changes.

This is 2048x1152. Even if I select a higher resolution (2560x1440 or higher), the resolution stays at 2048x1152...

The attached pic is way larger than what I have in my screen, I do not know why it uploads so...

Means your monitor or PC is at that setting which isn't a common one I found.

Check your resolution.

Assuming Windows 10
Windows Desktop -> Right click -> Display Settings -> scroll down to Display Resolution

If you are running Linux/max and your resolution is different you might have to window it.

The buttons won't go over what your current settings are to prevent errors.

I managed to tinker with my settings and now I can go to higher resolutions. But the overflow persists. Attached pics at 2560x1440

And here the overflow at 2560x1440 (it also happens at the other two resolutions...[&:])

That's my resolution. Ok I can replicate this let me investigate.

BTW thanks everyone for looking this over. So it helps me correct any errors for the next week hotfix.

P.S. also be some extra game goodies added that are in beta.
