Curious whether this is WAD or gamey.

Invasion of the beach hex in Norway immediately changes ownership of minefields and allows units to move past in that same turn.

That is correct. In beta this was changed to a script after Norway is conquered. It is supposed to represent German naval mining in the area after they control Denmark and Norway to prevent the Allies from entering. it's also good for game balance.

Alvaro, what's occurring is that the allies land a division in the mined hex, take control, and pass that same turn.
