Reattaching HQ's

I had a few German HQ's attached to Higher Italian ones; Italy has surrendered but these German HQ's now cannot be attached to any German higher HQ units at all. It shows nothing for their HQ. [&:]

I don't know for sure if this will work, but try moving the German HQ close to a higher-level German HQ, and use the "G" Change HQ button to reassign them.

Thanks for the info. I fixed it by going back a couple of turns and changing the HQ's on the affected units. Note that you do not want to attach any German units to Italian HQ's because when the Italian units surrender, then you will be screwed.
