So I took Stuart's mod for a quick spin. A British mechanized team is tasked with moving in to a valley to block any Russian advances.

By the time I decided to capture screenshots several Russian vehicles had been destroyed. A flight of Apache's overwatching my advance were responsible for most of the vehicles in this screenshot.

A Russian Tunguska is engaged while dashing across a field. The Russian vehicle would die seconds after this shot.

I've caught a group of BMP's heading southwest down the valley road toward the small industrial complex that is the center of the blocking force, two Challenger 2's and a platoon of mechanized infantry. on my left flank. The combination of direct and indirect fire was devastating.

The bigger picture.

NATO artillery impacting on Russian vehicles.

Flight of Apaches inbound to support the Scimitars that have been harassing more BMP's and infantry. The combination of a well timed artillery strike, 30mm cannon fire, and Apaches took its toll on the Russian forces astride Objective 1.

Incidentally, if you set it to August 1985, you should get Chieftain Marksman's. I was a bit influenced by the Team yankee wargaming book....

That's one rule set I have not checked out yet.
