I think I have PM'd everyone I've ever played Desert War via PBEM and invited them to join the ALPHA Test Team...but I may have forgotten someone. If so, and you are interested in ALPHA testing, please drop me a PM.

If you are an experienced Desert War player and we have never played a game together--and you are interested in playtesting Stalingrad--send me a PM. We'll have a game and see how you do.

Stalingrad: Nightmare on the Volga is an operational level, ground-centric wargame that recreates the decisive battles fought between the Axis and the USSR for the possession of this key city on the Volga. It consists of a series of brief, historical scenarios and campaigns that allow the players to explore the ebb and flow of the actual conflict. The game covers the period between 23 July and 18 November 1942; from Hitler’s directive to capture Stalingrad to the beginning of the Soviet counter-offensive--Operation Uranus.

Experienced Players Wanted. One challenge accepted--two to go. C'mon--Help us advance the game engine. If you know how to play the game and want to see The Russian Front successful, kick in. Play. Trust me to give you a fair assessment.

Oooohhh a screenshot!!

Sadly I'm not experienced DW player and even if I was I'm pretty rubbish at most games so I'd hardly push the engine.

Still may apply for the Beta.

No problem. Everyone is a beta nowadays.

Sad face. Three ALPHA testers signed up and happy to have them...but it was just three. Was this the wrong game topic? If so, let us know. What do you want to see instead? The audience decides what we do.

We cannot proceed any faster than our reactions to the insights provided by our testers. If you are interested in advancing our project and you are a player of Desert War--let us hear from you. I take this game engine as serious as you.

I imagine people don't feel good enough at the game to fulfil what you have asked for.

Personally I think you're best just opening up to all those who have played DW, and then open further to anyone new to the series.
