Possible bugs U984

Hi Alvaro,

Here is a possible bug from the beta 9U84: The German Iron route off Norway (all hexes) still show open during the winter turn even if the German player turns it off. My German opponent confirmed that he closed the route, but the hex info is still showing 25 resources going through. It is confirmed a second time with the UK ships not raiding anything. So, it does act as closed as it should, just not showing it on the map.

Another possible bug concerns the naval OP. I moved a naval unit to sea from port using only 1 OP. That unit still had 1 OP left as it should. However, when I sent to that same hex another unit using also only 1 OP, the fleet (of those 2 units) when down to zero OP even if both ships individually only spent 1 OP to get there! So, they could still have 1 OP left if they where in two adjacent hexes, but zero if together.

The last one is very minor, but since I switched to 9U84, the multiplayer screen does not remember my password and login alias. I have to enter them both each time which was not the case with all previous versions.

Thanks and take care,

#1 it might show the route but it isn't there. As the Allies they know shipping goes through that lane or the Norway one. But they don't know when. So they have to watch if their subs engage.

#2 The new rule is that when ships enter a port that makes their Opts ZERO. But any ships that are in that port from the start of the turn can move out. It was a change of rules that took a lot of work around coding to ensure it worked. Players were happy with the zero move system before. I had to make some reasonable compromises. 99% of the time a player isn't moving into then out of a port.

#3 Go to C:\Users\"your user name"\Documents\My Games\WarPlan..... and RENAME playerData.dat OR playerDataSteam.dat (if you are on steam)
Then logon to multiplayer manually.
Get out of the game.
Come back and see if the logon is there saved.
If it is and the multiplayer is working delete the old copied files.
I tell you to rename them so if you forgot your multiplayer login you can open those files in notepad and hopefully see the login and password.

Hi Alvaro,

Thanks for the answers.

However for this one below, the ships did not enter port first. They both started the turn in different ports and moved to the same hex to form a fleet in that hex. They both used only 1 OP but when "merged" the fleet went down to zero OP even if both ships only moved a very short distance.

Ahhh I'll take a look. I could replicate the error myself also.
