One thing that makes Strategy games much more enjoyable to me is if there is a bigger picture in play.
I would wish that if u Conquer a Planet that u become a player on the much bigger scale which is the Galactic one instead of ending the game.
I don't mean space battles but A Galactic map where the Empire u founded starts taking over multible Planets along side other rising empires maybe carry over some of the techs or other bonuses like getting imports of your choosing from off planets depending what your Empire can provide and what would be more scarce on the new planet/moon.
The possibility of invasion on your already conquered planets etc.

[&o] this would be the most amazing addition i can think of besides Boats and Planes unsure how doable it is tho.

Tbh it would completely change the scope of the game and you would require to make almost a completely new game, I feel than we would be better if had the following features:

* Naval Forces
* Complex spy system with sabotages, assassinations, steal of techs, unrest and rebels gatherings, etc.
* Better OOBs system, the current one doesn't take in account several unit types like AT guns, AA guns, Walkers, Jetpack Infantry, mechanized artillery, etc.
* Rebalance of small arms and gauss: At the moment gauss its completely ignored since its at the same level as laser rifles and its x3 better, we would need to move further up the gauss guns (or down the laser) and buff its attack values, while also adding gauss cannons to vehicles (so they work as an intermediate between long barrel guns and laser guns)
* Better alliance system: Right now you can't move or land lease troops or equipment to your allies, neither you can move troops into your subjects territory or make them start making assets and troops with kinda equal tech progress as you

And lots of QoL improvements than would improve the game experience a lot and aren't as complex or hard to balance as making outer space playable.

That is an awesome idea! I want this, too.

Sounds more like Shadow Empires II, designed to interlock with Shadow Empires I.
