The attached .se1 file crashes to the windows desktop without error message or exception when the turn is advanced.
Same file does not crash with v1.05b15b

For those who may not have saved it, here's the v1.05b15b-2 beta.

Same. First turn new game. Crashes to desktop.

Yep, got this going on to both old saves and new games. The crash seems to happen shortly after the "Preparing AI Initialization" phase, during one of the "Executing Reserve Fronts."

Working on beta17. Will be posted within 4 hours. Apologies for the bad build. I am trying to squeeze in as much as i can and the last item is squeezed in was not properly tested It is now though...

Vic, no worries! That's what 'beta' is all about.

Those of us who choose to use them take that risk at the prospect of helping weed out those very issues prior to the official, presumably more stable, release.

Yup beta is for testing to FIND the problems anyone doing it must accept that sometimes stuff doesnt work )

Heh. I know its all part of the beta cycle and its hickups, but its the least i can do as a curtesy

Yeah. I was getting that error on both of my saved games for both v1.05.00 and v1.05b16. Uninstalled the game, reinstalled to v1.05.00 and it loaded cleanly.

Two steps up, one step back. Such is the nature of game development! [:)]
