Settings Not Followed on Game Creation

HellO!

I am attempting to build an "unplayably large" game with 14 players, a land map with big continents.

Yet invariably, the majority of the "continents" are tiny islands with maybe one or two big continents.

I've created 15 different games, and the same thing happens regardless.

Are the settings just ignored, or are they broken, or what?

If you want no water that is an option it will be all land one big land mass with little lakes and swamps.

I don't want "no water" - I want water - but I don't want tiny little islands all over the place. I want 5 or 6 large continents and then some smaller islands too if necessary.

The "land map" does not mean no water. The "no water map" means no water.

I'd make Vic aware of this threads existance if I didn't know he was very busy with making Shadow Empire ready for Steam, and adding air units.

In the mean time, might I suggest you (even if you don't think it is optimal) use the games editor to make the islands into continents?
