Hello,

After changing PCs, I am trying to re-access a multiplayer game.

One game works fine, but another (where I was in the middle of a turn) comes up with an error saying "Could not find 6531.dat" when it reaches the "Unpacking" stage of download.

Please advise!

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you mouse hover over the game in the PBEM++ lobby and give me the challenge ID number? This way I can be sure to send over the correct file.

Just to follow up, the reason I've asked for the Challenge ID number is that I cannot see the 6531 number anywhere on the server, can you confirm that this number is accurate?

Yes that number is accurate. Away for a few days, but will follow this up at the weekend!

Yes it's the game started in July (which says a lot about my play rate at the minute, and Scottydawg's patience!)

Here is the missing DAT file, please download it from this link:

Place it in your hidden PBEM data folder typically found here and this should resolve the issue for you:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\PBEM++\<matrixUsername>

Note this folder may be hidden on your system. Additionally, please replace <username> with your username on your computer and then the <matrixUsername> with your matrix user name.

You might have to manually type in the path to get to the AppData folder as this is the hidden folder. After that you should be able to navigate the rest.

Sorry to hear about that and I would just suggest to please contact Matrix support directly for help with this as they are in a better position to help with any server issues.
