[1.05b6b1] cerberus planet with no water

Rolled a cerberus planet with 0% precipitation and water.

Start has no ice deposit to mine, but market starts off with 800 water. But after buying this there is none left, it seems the whole planet as no water.

So everyone just dies? How was human habitation even possible? With a t3 start on slow speed it would take far too long to research the tech to get water out of rocks.

edit: This is totally realistic of course, but the game should not generate an impossible scenario like this?

It's supposed to start you out right next to an ice mining deposit. If it doesn't, it's probably a bug. I'd send the save to Vic.

Unless you're playing on beginner there is a chance to start without any water/metal mine at all, its just RNG fuckery, you have to pray to find a water deposit ASAP

Checked the save file. Freak chance with suboptimal algorithm I think with one extra minetype overwriting another (like metal overwriting water).

Will not happen anymore in 106-beta3.

best wishes,
Vic

There is plenty of water deposits on this planet by the way... just not in your initial area
