Auto updater not working

I tried to update the game with auto updater and it failed the updater was not responding after starting

Did you try again? It worked for me without problem, when I updated a while ago.

Does the new update have ver #77 or 76 on the dashboard?
I downloaded the update and ran the setup, but loaded my previous save from the last beta, however it shows 1.06.03 on the main screen. Perhaps i need to start a new game?

I think you need to start a new game for that to change, yeah. It says #65 in mine.

I started a new game to check and it now shows version #79 on the dash.
