We have released a major update for Shadow Empire, bringing air forces and new critters to the game.

You can get the update by using the Updater from the Launcher.

If it doesn't work or if you encounter an error saying that your version is too low, you can grab the latest patch by going to https://www.matrixgames.com/member/down ... dow-empire. Download the 1.05 installer and run that first.

I can't download the 1.05 installer, When I click on it the new window opens breifly and then I get thrown out. Will try in Firefox to see if the same issue persists.
Edit: Yes, Firefox allows me to download it.

It is important to enable the aircraft in the options. [:D]
I started a new game and I was wondering, why I have no aircraft. After a short look in the start options I found the button. ^^

This might be a Chrome thing. I've found I have to right-click and Open Link in New Tab to get it to download some files nowadays!

The link to the installer is funny... the other two links point to a specific file and download without issue in Chrome, but the installer link points to a folder in your servers and not a file, so that's the issue...

Solved by copying the link address and pasting into the URL section of Chrome.

Bought the game about two weeks ago, just updated to the latest version after watching all the Das Tactics tutorials. Right off the bat I'm a little confused by the "easier logistics" box. On the one hand there's so much complexity clicking it is a no-brainer. On the other hand I'm worried all the effort I put into kinda sorta almost understanding what was going on (traffic signs... hmm yeah I can see how that works) will go out the window and it'll actually be a step backwards. I did a search of the forums for "easier logistics" but came up with nothing, just lots of references to a new push pull system that frankly sounds a tad ominous. No luck searching the manual either. Maybe it was mentioned in the tutorial on youtube but I forgot? Any suggestions would be welcome

I think it's in the patch notes. But to my understanding all it does is double the logistics AP and points of all your logistics buildings. You'll still need to understand the basics of the mechanic to work with it so it's not a really a loss having learned it.

Ah thanks for the explanation. Doubling them does indeed make things easier. Another question, although nothing that directly impacts gameplay. I was wondering if there's a way outside of the planet formation phase to look at the stats for any alien critters.

Large parts of the reports from planet generation are presisted into the game. Somewhere under Reports, if memory serves.

I just installed it so i have no idea about it and what it does.
