Tobruk garrison too weak ?

Hi
Playing latest beta, Axis vs AI, reached so far end June 1941

Tobruk seems too easy to take. The garrison is relatively weak, and allies air and naval forces do not seem to support it enough. The supply depot just south of Tobruk seems to be a key in this part of the map and the Allied AI also does not defend it very well.

Regards

(PS: So far the Allied AI seems also too passive. It just retreats and do not counterattack. My only enemy is the (lack of) supply :)
I will keep playing to see if any counterattack will be coming. )

I will take a look.

Vs a good wargamer the historical levels will seem too weak.

Testing again Axis vs AI, gameplay is better and AI seems less passive.

But I really think that either Tobruk garrison should be stronger or Tobruk fortification level should be better. As it is, a concentric attack of 3 or 4 axis units shatters the division in one turn, it does not seem realistic...

Well we are not here mimicking history.

In the old SSI game Knights of the Desert I constantly took out Tobruk as the Axis in 1941. I just applied maximum force to the objective THEN pushed on.
