Title says it all. I tried to F12 screenshot but it didn't work.

It's because there's no steam overlay.

That means no one can upload screenshots to steam? I would like this to change.

I've already posted a suggestion for a steam overlay. I think Vic is currently focused on bug fixing with the newly added Air units. I'm sure the overlay will come.

It is sadly not possible.

Steam overlay only seem to work with games that use the 3D card. Which SE is not doing.

If you're using W10, you can take screenshots with Shift+Windows Key + S

I know. But it seems steam is sensitive about what I can upload there, only stuff I F12ed.

Is there a function on steam where I can upload my screenshots I did via windows key function?

His problem doesn't seem to make a sreenshot itself, but to easily publish it on the net.

At the moment it is impossible to make a screenshot via the steam-implemented F12 method. Any other screenshot works, but I cannot upload those in the steam screenshots, just to clarify.

Can you make a Steam screenshot of Paint containing your screenshot? Or take some game that allows you to show a picture, and that picture is your screenshot? Be creative. [:D]

I am but a user, and the creative part of the net hasn't posted a single SE screenshot on steam...

Did you see this? Maybe I'm not understanding it right, but doesn't this say it can also be activated for software?

I think you can manually place screenshots in the screenshot folder on your drive and then upload them like that.
But it's probably easier to just upload them as artwork instead.

I uploaded a screenshot as artwork on steam. This is not satisfying, though.

My other games on Steam have the same issue. I have however noted that some people managed to upload screenies for Advanced Tactics for example.
