Question about Money..?

I`ll get straight to the question.

Do you use money to purchase titans and equipment during the game?

If so, hows it work? a rewards system depending on kills made? or just a standard sum after each mission?

Thanks

Much more complex. Money for kills, money for doing the job modified by your average rank compared to the enemy + money for salvaging enemey titans modified by your business mans skill.

In TOS WS its a bit more realistic. Special missions can reward extra money and your squads mechanic is modifying salvage too.

I'm sure I missed something.

Thanks for the reply.

It leads to so many questions though?!:)

Squad mechanic!?! I`m sure I`m missing loads of the basic fundamentals about this game. But it sounds more and more exciting, alot more deep that it looks from the surface.

I think depth is a strength of TOS. Designing a good titan is deep. Designing a good jock/titan combo even more. Managing your squad is deep too. Fighting is very deep, a rookie player can easily be defeated by a veteran. But then there is luck ....

I would suggest going through ToS 1.4. These guys are merciless, especially the Hetz.

Right then.

I`ve got to ask (and show my ignorance) ToS version 1.4.

Er, from where? And what similarities is there with ToS warring Suns?

Thanks

You`ll get it from this link. Warring Suns is based on ToS.

just make sure to bring scuba gear and plenty of oxygen plus a pressure resistant suit because my anchor still hasn't hit bottom and its at about a 100000 points of game depth

(that is IF ToS has a bottom because i think larkin and thorgrim are the only ones who know if ToS has a bottom or if its just a game with a bottomless depth)

The game is as deep as you want it to be. If you like to investigate and find out stuff (and have lots of patiente and like to read), then you'll have the time of your life (gamewise of course). This game is just so complex and detailed that it'll keep you entertained for years. If you just want to play it for fun, it has enough depth to keep you hooked for a long time without requiring too much dedication (read reading/testing) - but you just don't know what you'll be missing.
Your choice ;)
