I have two fleets adjacent to the city in Iceland with a ground unit apiece. When I click on disembark there is a message that says no units selected to disembark. How do I disembark the units to go into the port?

You need to have the ships in the actual port hex not next to it to disembark unless it is an invasion of course.

Move the unit to be disembarked units into the port, not adjacent to the port.

Here are two screenshots. The game will not let the fleet into the port city of Iceland. Germany conquered Denmark and UK declared war on Iceland. How do you post a screen shot on this forum?

Hope you will be able to post the screens with above information.

So, are you playing on Axis side, Allies side?
Who is occupying Iceland port? Axis? Allies?
Did you press the Z key to see where it is possible to disembark?

You aren't in the port. Move into Reykjavik

I am playing the Allies.

Allies are trying to get into the port to occupy Iceland

If you cannot enter the port, then either Iceland is neutral or Axis controlled.
If it is neutral you will need to declare war and place your fleet in the light colored hex near Reykjavik. Then invade Reykjavik directly. (Make sure you have enough landing ships before you declare war).
If it is German controlled iceland then you will still need to invade but you won't need to declare war.
If Iceland is in Allies hand, you simply need to move into the port and click the little blue anchor icon to disembark.

Also is worth mentioning, that in 1940 the game will trigger an event in wich UK DOW and inmediatly conquer Iceland, so there is no need to disembark.

In the image your fleet is in an ocean hexagon (it is indicated in the lower window) to disembark you must be in a beach or coast hexagon.

I have done a test, because of the message that appears it is possible that the troop you want to disembark is in garrison mode, and in this mode they cannot.

If Iceland is German you need to be on a beach or coastal hex to invade

Beach = hex with some land
Coastal = hex with 1/2 or more land.

Right now you are on an ocean hex.

If the unit is set as a garrison it won't invade either
