Advanced Weapons

Would it add something to the game if a Research Category called Advanced Weapons be added? These might include V1, V2, and jet fighters for the Germans, and Atomic Bomb Research for the USA. When successful such research would place units like the V1, or V2 on the map acting with properties somewhat like Bombers?

Earthman --- Each of the weapons you describe is already addressed in the game: jet fighters arrive upon reaching Advanced Fighters level 5 research; the V1-V2 are abstractly represented in rocketry research and the atomic bomb automatically comes into play when conditions to drop the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are met (there is no research category for nuclear weapons per se). If I recall properly, only Germany can research rockets.

I was wondering about rockets too cause I've never made them in this game. Here is the technology description for rocketry. I am wondering if this tech is for both rocket artillery and the rockets like V1s?
Rocket Weapons – only Germany can research this category and deploy
Rocket units. It improves the Resource attack value and strike range values
for all Rockets, while also increasing the chance by 10% that a rocket attack
against a resource occupied by a defender will inflict a hit on that defending
unit. Note that Rocket’s effectiveness decreases with range.

8.1.19. Rocket Artillery
Only Germany and the USSR have the potential to deploy Rocket Artillery
units as these represent massed rocket batteries of Nebelwerfers or
Katyushas. Acting like other artillery units, they can be most useful in
softening up enemy units immediately prior to launching an offensive.

Rocket artillery is acting like other artillery units, it uses only artillery research and rockets use just rocket research. If you open up a unit, you can see what research they can get.

Never passed 1943 in this game. What are the conditions to be met in order to build the A bomb? How many can you buy? When?

It just pops up as an event asking if you want to drop the a bombs on Japan. It's 600mpp a turn for two turns or something like that. That very same turn USA will drop two bombs and that's all you get.

it will later drop a third bomb, if japan not surrendered, also, the bombs are quite powerful, will reduce the target cities to zero, and damage any units there badly, but the most important is the massive morale damage it does to japan, in a historical state, it will be enough to force the japan surrender, and will be helpful otherwise too.
