DLC breaking the deadlock will not install

The base game installed fine. It is installed on the D: drive and not the C: drive. The DLC breaking the deadlock will not install.
Crashes after the "ready to install" screen. It is version 1.02.zip (there are no other files in the download page). The ready to install window, "the following settings will be used". The install folder name is blank. Error of "parameter is incorrect."
Any help would be appreciated.
