Hello,

After changing PCs, I am trying to re-access a multiplayer game.

One game works fine, but another (where I was in the middle of a turn) comes up with an error saying "Could not find 8137.dat" when it reaches the "Unpacking" stage of download.

Game id is 7986 vs Hartmann301
Please help!

I had the same issue once. Seach for another .dat from WiE then copy and rename it to the missing one.
The playback then does not work correctly so better skip it.
For the follow up turns everything should work fine then.

Sorry to hear about the trouble.

Here are the missing DAT files, please download it from this link:
https://we.tl/t-vIqTcbCQWX

Place it in your hidden PBEM data folder typically found here and this should resolve the issue for you:
\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - War in Europe\PBEM++\<matrixUsername>

Note this folder may be hidden on your system. Additionally, please replace <username> with your username on your computer and then the <matrixUsername> with your matrix user name.

You might have to manually type in the path to get to the AppData folder as this is the hidden folder. After that you should be able to navigate the rest.

Let me know if you still need help after this,
Hubert

Those dat files are in the same path than the other saves, but I have the same problem with 8203 and 8137 while all the other games work properly
