I'm failing to see where I can change a unit type of ZOC, is it doable, and if yes where it is?
Thanks

Yes, with the campaign open in the Editor, go to: Campaign -> Edit Movement Cost Data

Thanks Bill, I was searching it elsewhere.
An unrelated question, are partial points in combat used, like Hard defense 2.5 compared to 2? I'm doing a little mod and I can use the added precision.

Not unless something else gives them a 0.5 bonus to make it a round number.

Thanks. But you'll note that cities give 1.5 defense bonus in hard? It means it is rounded down to 1? I could have sworn I saw a 5.5 HD in a combat odd sometime.

1 - Is it possible to rename a unit class? Say Brigades are renamed Detachments.
2 - In the WW1 game there is a limit to the number of tank corps tied to your research level. I have searched, but it seems hardcoded?
3 - I have doing some light tests in the editor. How do I set a city as a capital? Can I rename countries?
4 - There are only 2 factions possible, no 3rd 'barbarians' at war with the 2 others?

Is that resource a Capital resource? While what I said below I think may be true, I think you also need to have an actual Capital in the country's territory for the game to believe it's a valid country.

3 - To set a capital, go to Edit Country Data and middle centre left there is a list of Capitals. Any urban resource can be designated as a capital, the top one on the list will be the actual capital, and there are alternates as well.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty confident that combat values (not demoralisation / de=entrenchment) include the fraction when they go into the readiness calculation.

thanks The Land. As for the capital, still no luck. I'm trying to click on a resource belonging to the UK and the editor rejects the command. See: This is what I get after clicking on 'Add ->' with the location in selection.

I found the issue. You can only designate as capital the capital city sprite, for a major at least.

That's right, either a Capital or a Major Capital resource type have to be placed on the map, and whichever you use will be that country's capital.
