Deleting Saved Games?

How can you delete your saved games? I went into the steam/steamapp/common/WITE folder then dat folder to the save and deleted all the saves. But when I fire up the game they are still there!! What's going on? The game makes copies of my saved game and hides them?? This is nuts. AN to use the game delete file system it will take forever!!

Is the game installed under C:\program files?
then these copies may well be in protected folders, a feature of windoze.

Yes. If I delete the game saves in Explorer then start the game the game recreates all the save files. Now If I start the game and then minimize the game and and use file explorer to delete the saves it seems to work. D'ah! Protected folder? Hmmm that mean I could erase them at all. Not the case. Anyway I found a work around. Data management is a beotch!

Exactly because of this BS I install all my games outside of the program files folder

A lesson learnt a long time ago, never install anything under it.

Steam did it. I was not prompted to select a location to save saved game files.
