Ran AI vs AI and noticed a preponderance of Guards units on the line.

Exported the commanders report in December of '43:

80% of cavalry formations were Guards, and I think that should be fine as I understand they are unlimited.
Guards Tank corps were 45% of formations, and mech corps were 50% of formations.

But the infantry were ~86% Guards.

Is that WAD?


The limit for motorized type units is approximately 35 percent. For non-motorized type units, the approximate percentage limit varies by year
as follows:
 1941 - 5 percent
 January - June 1942 -10 percent
 July - December 1942 - 17 percent
 1943 - 25 percent
 1944 - 30 percent

Maybe the AI doesn't have limits? I recently played a 12.06 game to the very end against a human opponent and the number of guards units were normal.
