game started with latest beta (10U3)

29th September, Axis vs AI

Poland has surrendered.

A polish air unit was left forgotten south of Brest-Litovsk. In the next turn it is still there...

(This may have to do with the weird messages about polish air units that Axis receives, reported a couple of days ago)

I don't have a Polish air unit on map but I indeed received this message as Allies. But, Poland is gone on turn 2.
Is it not linked to this event?
Added UK event if Poland isn't conquered by October 13th that gives them an extra air unit

Ok this is what I did.

Overran a Polish air unit.
Left Polish air units to surrender.
Left Polish air unit in hex that changed controlled to Russia.

I didn't see the error so I need detailed on what happened.

Did anyone take Poland out after October 13th?

When you overran the counter did it give a message about overrunning an air unit or the counter just vanished with no message?

Save game won't help. I need to see the error occur in this case.

Well, I tried and it is very bizarre...

I can move to the hex where the air unit is, and I get the message that 1st Air div was overrun. But my axis unit "merges" with the air unit - only the air unit symbol but with the CF and MP of my land unit...If I cycle click on the hex, the unit detail window cycles through both units. I can move my land unit away, but when I move it away, I get the same message - the air unit was overrun - but it is still there...[&:]

Recreated it - but took some patience. Took me more than 10 times running this:

Start Hotseat 1939
Move German armor to 169,63
End turn
Select polish 2nd Air Div
Attack the southern armour first then the armor in 169,63

After doing this 10-15 times, eventually I had the air battle. Have had it twice now in the past hour.

I then moved the Polish units away and opened the door for a turn 2 surrender.

Just recreated it again - takes patience of running the above over and over. Need two big air losses in he armor attack that result in the air unit being destroyed.

Ok the beta has been fixed. I found what the problem was. A function was pointed to the wrong place when an air unit is at 0 strength.
