I am pretty new to editing scenarios but got into it to make ORBATs of the forces more realistic. This has moved on to having the PO fight more realistically. In this latter bit I have seemingly successfully set objective tracks that would be more like the WARSAW Pact might have fought; I am reworking The Next War 1979 - Tension.

So my question is: do I have set objectives for air formations or simply give them orders such as air superiority, interdiction, etc? It appears that the original author had set up objectives.

Since the air units are in a formation, the formation need to have at least one objective assigned for the scenario to work but that objective can be put anywhere. It has no apparent use, the air units will follow the orders.
