Hey Guys,

we have encountered a problem during our 3 PLayer PBEM Session. After some 40 turns the game proceeds to just ignore one of the players treating it like an ai. He is not prompted for his password etc anymore, the game just proceeds to do its thing like he wouldn't exist anymore.

Did anyone encounter this problem and knows a solution?

We have already tried to replay from some turns earlier but it still breaks in the same turn (44).

That sounds liek a bug. Best to make a bug report and havign a savegame just before the issue ready (however any player turn since his last turn might be relevant for this).

Yes please send the last save file of this players turn (the player who disappeared). To vic@vrdesigns.net and with a link to this thread. Make sure you tell me the name of the regime of the disappearing player as a double check. I'll look into it!

Welp been nice knowing everyone, this is how the machine revolution begins people, I always knew skynet would be an emergent property from a video game!

Have been involved in 5 'pbem' games...have not encountered this.

With luck the next Beta fixes it and it will still be.

The issue was resolved - as in most instances, it was "human failure" that caused it - You can play PBEM Games without worry.
