its been a while since I played any PC games....wasn't there an option to reverse the map, example; I just bought Scheldt, and if I play the germnas I'd like to view the lines from their side, not the allied side...

Apart from the John Tiller pedigree, the JTS
Panzer Campaigns games are entirely separate and have nothing to do with the M/S
Campaign Series, of course.
That said, the Campaign Series does still support map flipping, although the later JT games (including Scheldt 44) generally do not, AFAIK.
For a more definitive answer, you should pose your question at the Panzer Campaigns subforum at
The Blitz maybe.

Some time ago, and god knows where, I read that the map reverse feature that's available in EF/WF/RS/JTCS, etc., is unavailable to JT Games after leaving TalonSoft... a licensing, or trademarking, or some other BS legal issue.
It's really nice to have in these games, particularly in 3D mode. It's often difficult to see hexside features on the flip side of a hex. Even in 2D, I like having my guys coming from the bottom... goes back to tabletop board gaming.

Thx for the heads up, re; the trademark issue, agree it seems to be bit chickensh_t....
Absolutely agree re; the hex flip vue, even though you can right click in the info box and it tells you verbally the terrain feature facings per side, its just not the same and frankly, I like to play for the side I am playing from viewing it that way.
Its annoying as heck playing a force from the north and never having that view, always making moves from the southern view or south side....
